OVERNIGHT DEPUTY PATROL OF CALWOOD AREA RESULTS IN FELONY ARREST AND RECOVERY OF STOLEN MOTORCYCLE

Stacy Moore, 47, of Williamsburg
Narrative:
On July 6, 2018, at approximately 12:35 AM, Callaway County deputies were patrolling the Moore’s Mill Conservation Area, to include County Road 139, in the Calwood area. During the patrol, deputies observed a motorcycle in the adjacent Auxvasse Creek. Upon further observation, deputies observed Stacy Moore, 47, of Williamsburg, lying in the creek bed a short distance from the motorcycle.
As deputies continued their investigation, they determined the motorcycle had been entered as stolen by the Osage County Sheriff’s Office. Furthermore, it was determined Moore was a wanted fugitive in Lincoln County for Felony — Criminal Non-Support.
Moore was arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail for booking/processing. Later on this date, the Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney charged Moore with Felony Tampering with a Motor Vehicle 1st. Moore is being held on court set bonds of $4,500.00 (Callaway County) and $2,500.00 (Lincoln County).
