COLUMBIA FUGITIVE ARRESTED DURING MILLERSBURG DISTURBANCE INVESTIGATION

Alecia Schmitz, 33, of Columbia
Narrative:
On July 16, 2018 at 9:06 p.m., Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a reported disturbance in the 1700 block of Katie Lane north of Millersburg. Deputies were in the immediate area, due to the unrelated Little Dixie Lake Conservation Area detail, and arrived at 9:08 p.m.
During the course of the disturbance investigation, deputies came into contact with Alecia Schmitz, 33, of Columbia. It was determined that Schmitz was a wanted fugitive from justice. Schmitz was ultimately arrested for two Callaway County FELONY probation violation warrants – original felony charges of Stealing and Forgery.
Schmitz was transported to the Callaway County Jail where she remains incarcerated on a court-set $10,000.00 cash only bond.
