Narrative:
On December 31, 2017 at approximately 2:41 p.m., Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived to a residence in the 4900 block of County Road 229 east of Millersburg. Deputies had previously received information that Jonathan Burns, a wanted felon fugitive, was at this location.
Deputies searched the residence and eventually located Burns hiding under a pile of clothes. Burns was taken into custody on four Boone County warrants for DWI, Property Damage, FELONY Possession of a Controlled Substance and Stealing, along with a Callaway County warrant for Stealing.
Burns was transported and released to the Callaway County Jail pending a court-set bond of $8,500.00.
The investigation is ongoing and further charges could be forthcoming. NO FURTHER INFORMATION WILL BE RELEASED AT THIS TIME.
